If our present government were actually more conservative than their name implies, perhaps our country would not be in such a financial crisis. Remember that in order to be a conservative, one must necessarily be a conservationist. We have seen neither a scaling back of government (most republicans although part of government constantly criticize the government that they have shaped), nor have they reversed "Big Government Spending." Indeed government has expanding, while the largest tax cut in history was dolled-out, benefitting primarily the super rich. Starting a war, with no plan to pay for it pushes the burden to those less likely to be able to pay - our children. If you chose to label me a liberal, I am a proud-one, and one that's ready to whip-ass on any lemming-like follower of the wrong way for America - "The Right." How ironic.
