The Cazayoux Truth

CazayouxTruth has shown you his record, and provided links to the documents to back it. But you don’t have to take my word on it. A political science professor at LSUS has posted documentation on his blog concerning the ideology of Don Cazayoux, and here is what he found:

Cazayoux has had a fairly populist and liberal record overall in the Legislature. Over the past three years his scores on the voting scorecard produced in my Louisiana Legislature Log gives him numbers (where 0 is “perfectly” liberal/populist) of 44, 30, and 10.

Vote your heart, but be informed.

During political campaigns, candidates and their consultants create an image of a leader whose values fit with the district. I strongly believe that during the race for the Sixth Congressional District in Louisiana, one candidate, in particular, has created an image that does not match his long record as a State Legislator.

It is naive to think that a politician who has a consistent record of doing one thing in Baton Rouge, will do something entirely different in Washington DC. This website is my way of breaking through the clutter and providing voters with an informed picture of Don Cazayoux’s voting record.

This site will demonstrate a side of Cazayoux’s voting record that he probably does not want the voters to know about. I’ll provide the links to the votes and bills, so you can check the facts for yourself.

CazayouxTruth.org is my way of making sure the voters of Louisiana are informed. On May 3rd it is important that every citizen VOTE. I encourage you to vote your heart, but be informed.
